14 jun – 18 jun - Vad händer

On the 14-18of June 2026, join cyclists from around the world on an epic journey across the Scandinavian peninsula to the Arctic Circle – and back again. Follow winding roads through glacial river valleys, ride along the shores of crystal-clear lakes and emerald-green fjords. Cross endless coniferous forests and wetlands. Climb snow-capped mountains and endure the ever-changing arctic weather, passing Kittelfjäll along the way where cyclists are offered food and opportunities to rest.

On the 14-18of June 2026, the cycling club Randonneurs Laponia will organise the fourth edition of Midnight Sun Randonnnée! An epic round trip across the Scandinavian peninsula.

Den 14-18 juni 2025 arrangeras återigen Midnight Sun Randonnée 1200 (MSR), ett cykellopp som går från Umeå till Artic Circle Center och tillbaka till Umeå igen. I Kittelfjäll vid Fjälltorget finns en av de checkpoints längs med vägen där cyklisterna erbjuds mat och möjligheter till vila.

CHECKPOINT

Monday 15th of June our checkpoint at Fjälltorget in the village Kittelfjäll is open.

At Fjälltorget, food packages are handed out to participating cyclists.

At Kittelfjäll Vandrarhem, which is located on the other side of the road, we have arranged a number of rooms with beds for rest. It is also possible to borrow a shower/WC.

FOOD

For the competitors, there are food packages to pick up at Fjälltorget. It is also possible to buy food from the menu. For those who want to stay overnight, it is possible to book dinner.

INFORMATION TILL BOENDE I OMRÅDET

Det är 100cyklister anmälda till loppet som kommer att passera vår dalgång.

Cyklisterna kommer från Vilhelmina, via Stalon, Dikanäs och följer Sagavägen. De beräknas anlända till Kittelfjäll & Fjälltorget på måndag den 15juni mellan klockan ca10:00-23:45 & därefter cyklar de vidare mot Artic circle innan de vänder tillbaka mot Umeå.

Vi vill uppmärksamma er på att cyklister kommer att färdas längs med väg Vilhelmina - Dikanäs- Kittelfjäll - Skalmodal under dessa datum & ber er visa hänsyn till cyklisterna längs med vägen & sprid gärna ordet om att cyklisterna passerar vår dalgång!
