In Vojmån you will find one of Sweden's best grayling fishing. A fish that is easiest to catch with a fly rod or fly cast. If you're lucky, you can also catch really big trout. Vojmån is within walking distance from the hotel. Around Kittelfjäll, Grönfjäll and Gränssjö there are hundreds of small lakes and streams that all offer good fishing for trout and grayling. Guided tours are also available in the area.
Around Kittelfjäll, Henriksfjäll, Grönfjäll and Gränssjö there are many nice hiking trails where you can choose between exciting and beginner-friendly trails that suit the family, high alpine peak tours or longer hikes along waterways and mountain slopes. If you want to fish or just enjoy nature, there are both lakes and flowing water to explore by canoe or boat near Kittelfjäll. Join a guided tour along Vojmån and look out for beavers or take the canoe across Borkasjön and land at the twin streams and hike up to the top of Borkan.

In our area around Kittelfjäll, Grönfjäll and Gränssjö, there are large and good hunting grounds for both mountain ptarmigan and forest birds. During small game hunting, which starts on August 25, there are good opportunities to experience magnificent views while hunting for ptarmigan or capercaillie.

The destination Kittelfjäll is located in Upper Vojmådalen and consists of a genuine mountain village with a string of villages along the Saga Road from Stennäs up to the village of Skalmodal at the Norwegian border. The area is surrounded by high mountains that offer magnificent views, and there are several excursion destinations starting from the different villages.
The area is situated in a scenic and overwhelming landscape with a range of steep mountains 1250-1375 meters high (including Borkafjället with an approx 500-meter-high precipice), rapids and lakes as well as forests and moors. Nearby is Marsfjället (1589 m) with the Marsfjäll Reserve with alpine vegetation and the famous Offerskalet, a sacred place according to the Sami, whose land this has always been.
