The magnificent nature, the countless lakes and the area's culture are the main trademarks of this part of Lapland. Many people fall in love with this place and choose to return for new experiences. In Vojmådalen there is currently a building boom of holiday homes and a new generation is discovering the amazing fishing, hunting and hiking opportunities in this paradise.

We believe that the friendly atmosphere and the togetherness of the local inhabitants in the villages Kittelfjäll, Grönfjäll, Henriksfjäll and Gränssjö are the main reasons why people are very fond of staying in Lapland.

In the villages in the valley, the personal welcome and the feeling of togetherness are things that we believe are a major reason why so many people fall in love with the area.

Summer and Autumn

The area is beautifully situated and overwhelming with a range of steep mountains between 1250-1375 meters high (including Borkafjället with an approx 500-meter-high precipice), rapids and lakes, as well as forests and moors. Nearby is Marsfjället (1589 m above sea level) with the Marsfjäll Reserve, high-altitude vegetation, and the renowned Offerskalet, a sacred place according to the Sami people, whose land this has always been.

There are a multitude of excellent trails with fantastic scenery and ample opportunities for fishing, picking berries and mushrooms, and several windbreaks and fireplaces if you want to take shorter day trips.

In Vojmån, you will find one of Sweden's best fishing waters, and there are hundreds of small lakes and streams all around the destination that offer great angling.

Winter

Kittelfjäll is widely known for its off-piste and heliski. We would also like to highlight our children's area and our gentler slopes. A ski mountain with challenging and varied skiing, off-piste so easily accessible that you only need to step off the lift to find it, but also with several pisted runs ranging from easy green and blue to more challenging red and black.

Kittelfjäll is surrounded by nearby peaks for ski touring or heliski, and in the valley, you can easily access trails for cross-country skiing and touring with beautiful surroundings that take you along Vojmån or out into the mountains.

There are also several fishing lakes around us where you can catch trout and char. With proximity to excellent snowmobile trails, you can easily head out to explore our valley. There are also great areas for free riding and opportunities for day trips.
