Travel to Kittelfjäll

Destination Kittelfjäll consists of an authentic mountain village with a string of villages including Grönfjäll, Henriksfjäll, Kittelfjäll, and Gränssjö near the Norwegian border.

From Umeå, Skellefteå, Örnsköldsvik, and Luleå, it is about 35 Swedish miles to the village of Kittelfjäll, and about 80 Swedish miles from Stockholm.

During selected weeks, it is possible to book package tours with direct buses from Stockholm with Active Ski Travel, as well as train trips with Snälltåget which takes you from Malmö in the south to Storuman in the north and from there connecting bus transfers to Kittelfjäll.

If you want to travel by plane, it is possible to fly to Vilhelmina, Lycksele, Hemavan, or Umeå, by train you can travel to Östersund and then take a bus or rental car to the final destination. Active Ski Travel also offers complete packages with flights including ski baggage transfer, accommodation, and ski passes during all weekends when the direct bus does not go to Kittelfjäll.
